Melissa Kay

Melissa Kay

On May 15th 2015 the talented Melissa Kay was taken from us way too early.  She had only been with us for approximately 6 months but she was a large part of our sound and was like a little sister to many of us.  We know she would want the music to go on - she will be missed greatly and remembered always.  Here's to you Melissa thanks for making the short time we spent together so enjoyable.

A true talent gone way too young, may you finally find peace.
Melissa Kay (1982 - 2015)  Melissa passed away suddenly in Ottawa, Ontario on Friday May 15 at the age of 32.  Melissa accomplished many things in her life.  She was a successful musician who founded Overnight Collides. She composed, sand lead, played piano, guitar and her favourite - the drums. She was also an accomplished engineering technologist and softball pitcher in her short very spirited life.  Loving partner of Scott Chamberlin.  Cherished by her sister Amanda and their father Wayne.  Predeceased by her mother Jesusa (Susan).  Melissa will also be dearly missed by her brother-in-law Rahul and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
